Driving for diabetes
4 – 8 August 2008
The challenge
I will be leaving the UK on 2 August to drive my Marlin 5exi sports car (pictured) at the Spa Francorchamps Formula 1 Circuit in Belgium on the 4 and 5 August. I will then travel to Germany to drive the world famous Nurburgring on the 7 and 8 August and then drive home again.
This event will be covered by local radio stations, newspapers and national car magazines. With the help of this media coverage I hope to bring attention to how serious diabetes is and raise funds for Diabetes UK to continue helping over 2.3 million people with this condition in the UK.
How you can help
Your name or company logo could be professionally printed and displayed on the car, which will feature in the publicity pictures.
£10 per individual name – 15mm high characters
From £50 per company logo – high res jpeg image required
Space is limited so please contact us as soon as possible to ensure your place on this fantastic 21st Century sports car. The sooner your name or company logo is displayed on the car the sooner it will appear in the publicity shots! The car will also be at the Diabetes UK Taunton Walk in the Park on 14 June and the Bristol Walk in the Park on 12 July.
