Classic car owners needed!Bristol Pegasus Motor Club member James Page is on the lookout for owners of pre-1985 cars to take part in a rolling road feature for the magazine he works for – Classics Monthly. The plan is to get a range of cars, from just post-war up to 1985, and take them to Interpro’s rolling road in Thornbury. They’ll be photographed for the article and have a session on the rollers. A normal session with Interpro costs almost £70, but for the magazine feature, they’re charging £35. For that, you’ll get a 20-minute session, advice from the experts on how to make your engine run better, and – obviously – your car featured in the magazine. For the feature to go ahead, James needs to gather together 15 owners, so if you’ve got a pre-1985 car and are interesting in taking part in the feature, which is taking place on Saturday 27 September between 9am-2pm, give him a call on 01225 442244 (extension 2220), or email him on james.page@futurenet.co.uk.
Go Motorsport is the UK's first ever centrally co-ordinated marketing campaign to encourage new people into motor sport. It was launched by Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton at the team's state-of-the-art Technology Centre in Woking in June 2008.
